This week we are studying the letter Cc. We will be working on the sight words "am", "a" and "my". In math we are reviewing the numbers 0-5 with a series of games and graphs. On Monday and Tuesday we played a math identification game using dice and on Wednesday we'll be graphing our favorite pizza toppings.
Our writing is coming along well! We are working hard to use our sight words and stretch out unfamiliar words to complete our sentences. We are also focusing to start our sentences with an uppercase letter, end them with a period and leave a space between each of our words. Any help you can do at home with writing is greatly appreciated!
I sent an email home yesterday asking you to collect Acme receipts, coke rewards points and Box Tops for the school as well as pop tabs for our own Room 2 collection. Thanks for your help!
The end of the grading period is sneaking up on us already. The final day of the grading period is Friday, October 29. Our Kindergarten Room 2 goal for 100 Book Challenge is 85 lines by that Friday.
Additionally, that is our Halloween parade and party. We are still working hard on our behavior to earn 12 "green days" so that we can attend!
